Calling all people who celebrate their 65th birthday this year

The organising group for HUMAN RIGHTS DAY (10th December) is looking for people who were born in 1948 and are therefore as old as the Declaration of Human Rights. They intend to celebrate the 65th birthday of the Declaration of Human Rights on the 10th December in the Launceston Mall between 3pm and 4.30pm.

Metro Tasmania designated wheelchair accessible services in Hobart

From Sunday 3 November 2013, Metro Tasmania will be re-introducing designated wheelchair accessible services in Hobart. These services are guaranteed to be provided using a wheelchair accessible bus and will be indicated by a wheelchair symbol on timetables.
