Metro Tasmania designated wheelchair accessible services in Hobart

From Sunday 3 November 2013, Metro Tasmania will be re-introducing designated wheelchair accessible services in Hobart. These services are guaranteed to be provided using a wheelchair accessible bus and will be indicated by a wheelchair symbol on timetables.

Metro services provided by an accessible bus are not limited to those designated accessible services indicated on timetables.  As the provision of other accessible services is not fixed, Metro recommends that passengers contact its customer service team one hour prior to travel to determine if a service, other than one with a wheelchair symbol, will be provided using an accessible bus.

 Metro has updated its timetables to include the wheelchair symbols. These timetables will be available to view at metrotas.com.au or by contacting 13 22 01 or correspondence@metrotas.com.au.
